According to National Database of Scientific Research of Institutions of Uzbekistan in Scienceweb, Samarkand International University of Technology has rosen to the second place.  The criteria for the selection are overall average h-index of scholars working at institutions, and the number of citations to their publications issued in international journals indexed by such international databases as Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar.
